Marin Nicasio: We're here with the 2009 Nicasio and the Marin City Bike line-up. This is our new flag-ship model in the City Bike line. The features in this bike is a higher component spec with a dedicated rider who wants a reliable bike to either tour, commute or ride for fitness throughout the year. Nice features on this bike will be an adjustable-rise stem, allowing the rider to fine-tune the handlebar height, depending on the comfort level they wish to attain. Frame consists of a triple-butted aluminum frame set; very lightweight, very efficient for pedaling. Drive-train on this is Shimano's LX component spec. Commuter oriented groove-set on this bike. Designed to be very dependable, year-in and year-out riding, very dependable for the rider who's looking to do extended riding. Finishing off the spec, the SunTour suspension fork with lockout features. This is a hydraulically-damped fork, so you have hydraulic fluid in this to control damping of the bump compliance for the fork as well as having a lock-out feature to fully lock-out that fork. So you can make it fully rigid for smoother sections of roads or for riders who wish to have a more efficient bike for a longer distance riding. 2009 Nicasio.
